Line up at 9:30 on Calhoun St. for the Parade
Children bring your favorite wagon, tricycle or bicycle and pedal
your own wheels or walk in your very own parade two blocks up
Winston Street. Participants are encouraged to donate $1.00
which will go to the Children’s Hospital of Macon. The Citizens
State Bank of Taylor County will also donate $1.00 to Children’s
Hospital of Macon for each child in the parade.

 

“SWEET 16” GRAND PARADE
SPONSORED BY HAMBY AUTOMOTIVE
The “Sweet 16” Grand Parade follows the Children’s Parade from
Calhoun St., turns north on Winston St. (Ga. Hwy. 128) to West
Wm. Wainwright St., turns west and ends at Montessori Joy
Learning Center. Don’t miss classic and antique vehicles,
marchers, floats, and high school marching bands from the
surrounding area strutting their stuff.

 

ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW
9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Downtown on E. Wm. Wainwright St. & Macon St.
& in Julian Knight Park
The Arts & Crafts Show offers original work by regional craftsmen,
games and rides for the children, outstanding food including
strawberry treats, and of course, plenty of strawberries to take
home from the Farmers’ Market.

Four classes and three categories will compete for prizes & ribbons.
